Claire and Andrea
thought up the idea of creating an illustration studio whilst toiling away at a tiny,
traditional animation studio in Westchester, NY.
Andrea, coming from a studio art background with a concentration in sculpture, created
a strong foundation for herself by creating short animated films, commissioned portraits,
band posters, and handmade wedding invitations, as well as any illustration job that
would pass her way.
Claire also studied studio art, but with a heavy focus in illustration.
This background led the way to not only obtaining many illustration jobs
for both worldwide agencies and small, independent design studios, but
also a wide variety of other artistic endeavors: she broke into the animation
world with an internship at Blue’s Clues at Nickelodeon, worked on commissioned
portraits, and has continued to teach a children’s drawing class over
the past 6 years.
They met at the Westchester-based animation studio, where both had the
chance to put their talents to the test. This unique studio, that takes
on a wide variety of commercials and television shorts each having their
own distinct style, allowed and demanded them to adapt to each project
that would come through the door. The constant changing of styles from
project to project and the chance to get their hands dirty in every step
of the process fed their talents to make them even more skilled in all
aspects of their work.
Many years of balancing full-time jobs in the animation and visual design worlds with a variety
of freelance work has given them the experience and the momentum needed to start their own business.
They’re passionate about what they do, and they’re here and ready to work for you!
